Solutions
Cement and mortar removal
Hardened mortar, cement film and runs on finished surfaces.
The problem
Construction work leaves mortar splashes, cement runs and a thin cement film on tiles, glass, frames and facades. Hardened cement does not come off with water or ordinary detergents.
Where it occurs
- New buildings before handover
- Premises after renovation
- Facades, storefronts and glazing
Why ordinary cleaning may not be enough
Cement is a mineral contamination. Ordinary cleaning removes dust but does not dissolve the cement layer, and scraping without preparation can scratch glass or damage the finish.
The Heavy Clean approach
We first identify the surface material and the thickness of the deposit and test on an inconspicuous area. Then we choose the method: an acidic product where it is permitted, mechanical removal and neutralisation. No acid is used on natural stone or sensitive surfaces.
